All l need is the time off from work, which hopefully won't be a problem.

btw, Suze... why are you going to Kenya?! I want to go there too!!

My friend Charlie married a Kenyan woman, well they eloped, but they're going over to have a ceremony and/or reception and invited me. I'm really excited about the trip! We'll be going for 2 weeks. We're doing a safari and visiting with Wanjeri's family in the jungle. How wild is that?

Did you send a tape of a performance? Or just a written application? Which song did you/are you going to do?

Suze - I am so jeal of your Africa trip.

I sent a ton of stuff. They had to have pictures, demo tape, personal story, etc. I sent them Sable on Blond and Rooms on Fire. Not sure what I'm going to do yet though.

well, lucky for you those aren't options, but I had to send something of me singing, not necessarily what I will perform if I am chosen

if anyone is interested, I have been officially invited to perform at NOTS. I am very excited, very nervous and very broke...gotta get a plan together...quick.

it is sure to be an explosive night. thanks for all the support.

I can't say what I'm going to perform, but you'll be pleasantly surprised I think (and I've hinted at it already)

and look out for the official press release in mid-March - should have a photo or two of me (new ones that I'm shooting this weekend)

well my name has been added to the list of performers on the website...nervous excitement has set in.

I started working on my first outfit today, got flights booked and am busy making plans to see some Broadway shows. Rent is for sure (it will be my second time to see it) and I think I'm going to see Wicked as well.
