I had been hearing some rumours of a Fleetwood Mac reunion since 1996 and I was very excited about it. I remember trying to figure out a way to get a ticket out to LA for the taping. I would have never gotten a ticket and my Mom passed away just a few weeks before the taping anyway.
Knowing that Fleetwood Mac were filming a concert video and planning a big tour was what kept me going after my Mom passed. I was very excited when The Dance debuted on MTV. I did think that they mellowed a bit but I knew that they were older and I was just happy that all 5 of them were back performing again.
I do remember ordering a promo copy of The Dance CD and I got it the Friday before the official release. I was supposed to get it a week before but thanks to a UPS strike at the time I got it later and I was not too happy.
I went to only 2 Dance shows opening night in Hartford CT and then Mansfield, Ma. I really wished that I had gone to see more shows but I was not quite a world traveler yet,

I've got zero interest in the full bootleg, but it'd be great if you could throw "Oh Daddy" up on YouSendIt or somewhere!

I'm sad this Boots person imploded into a self-destructing drama queen after only fifteen posts. S/he actually had interesting things to say...

Thanks! Lindsey's solo is very nice, and I really like the prominence of the piano over the organ.

That's ol' Brett on piano. It's pretty.

Why does it sound like Lindsey's playing with a pick?

Its the clean tone of his guitar, perhaps. It doesn't sound like a pick to me though...you can hear the flailing in it.
