To me the dance is what made me a fan. I always thought that the harmonies and vocals were top notch. However when you lok back it does seem like they did it for the money. I mean I don't know their persoanl fianances but I would guess that the income generated would have bee a help to some of the members (Mick for example if you belive all the stories squandered all of his money on drugs and bad investments). However whether or not it was about the money I don't care, for the diehard fans and casual fans it was a chance to have the rumours line up reunited after having gone through the ten years of various members coming and going.
The SYW album was pretty good even if Christine wasn't on it. What makes me mad is how the set list is soooo stale and stagnant. Anybody who argues that the tour was not about the money is wrong. The songs were done the same as they always have been done. The dialogue was even the same night after night. What I find interesting is how Lindsey did alot of lesser known stuff on his Soundsatge performance but he didn't do the same with the SYW tour. They have made enough money I think that they could afford to be a litle adventerous for once. Come on Fm live a little and stop thinking about dollar signs!!!! Matt |

If you weren't referring to me, than I apologize for this blow up. But if you were - "F" this.... I've posted on more intense forums than this, and have been in dragged out verbal fights with people, but it only took less than a day of my signing up on this board for someone to be underhandly obnoxious. I came here to talk about a band I love - not this crap. My thick skin has quickly thinned. I'm outta here....already. Last edited by Boots; 02-10-2006 at 01:08 PM.. |

friendly advice, if you are unsure if someone is making a reference towards you, simply ask before going into a rant. for instance, there are several Jasons on this board, but I make sure I check to see which one is being "talked" to before I respond now, all that said, just chill and keep on talking about the greatest band EVAHHHH...you're doing great |

I'd consider Jason's advice. (See, Jason? We agree on something! )
