bought the "elizabethtown" soundtrack, not only is lindsey song fabulous, tho not what i expected, i thought he night contribute a more ubeat song, i also thought the rest of the soundtrack was wonderful!!!~ eltob john & tom petty's songs along w/ lindsey's of course were my favs~

Well, I finally watched Elizabethtown the other day, and I have to agree, pretty great music throughout the entire movie. The movie itself was okay I guess, not really a standout masterpiece, but a movie with a good soundtrack always scores some extra points in my book.

It was weird listening to Big Love while watching that car drive down the highway. I have Big Love associated with something else entirely, and the images just didn't add up. But I guess I am weird that way.

me toooooo! i even started a thread about it over on chit chat. i completely agree about big love - was odd, eh? i quite loved the movie - and of course, the music. i particularly like the kathleen edwards song, summerlong. it came on during the urn-shopping scene, and i was like, what is that??? turns out - she's my fellow canadian kathleen! yay!
