Ah, that's one that I do love. I love all the Dance songs. There are quite a few of Christine's songs that I love (Songbird, Say You Love Me, Oh Daddy, Brown Eyes, Over My Head, come to mind quickly). I just don't love them the way I love Silver Springs, Sleeping Angel, Gold Dust Woman, SOTM, Storms.

My love for Sleeping Angel did come from watching Fast Times. I didn't know there was a Stevie song in the movie and all of a sudden it came out of nowhere.

I I thought I saw it on the Nicks Fix. Now I'm wondering where I saw that. Oh well, I'm off to Google it.

On further research, imdb lists Phil Collins song from Against All Odds as a nominee that lost out to Prince's Purple Rain. So I guess the trivia is wrong.
I think it would be cool to have a page listing Stevie's nominations and awards.

I finally heard back from NOTS. There are only 6 slots open for new performers. I must submit an entry package. They will announce the new performers in their press release around March 19...I guess if I make it I'll have to figure out what to do about work.

also, I must submit my two choices for songs. here's my list. I need help narrowing it down. what do you guys think?

Question - do you think you'd have a better chance if you picked a tune from TOSOTM, since that's the theme this year? Or would it better to pick a more popular, less obscure tune?

If you think more popular, then I'd say FFG.

If you think TOSOTM - I have to add Doing the Best That I Can. I think it would rock live and you could make it really dramatic.
