I've seen this before and its hilarious. I sent the link to my mom, only because she is SO not a mom-jeans wearer and would totally get it.

This was really funny, but painful for me, now that I am a mom, too. Will this be my fate? Are elastic wastebands as inevitable as crows feet? I pray I will never wear those pleat-front jeans.

Now I know why my friend's heavy metal band didn't laugh when we showed them Spinal Tap.

Oh God, that is funny- yet scary, too.

SuzeQuze · #7 02-01-2006, 08:33 AM

My boss wears these and I think of this every time I see her in them. She's never had children! Just stuck in a high rise timewarp! A waistline that high creates more of a pooch than actually exists, the rise should be just below your naval for the most flattering fit.

I don't wear these type of jeans, but i see them all the time wherever other moms are gathered LOL. Pretty funny.

Don't forget the tapered bottoms too! When I see women wear these kind of jeans, I just want to shake them! Oh ya, wearing them with sneakers is a nice touch

That's funny. Reminds me of the SNL spoof commercial with Gilda Radner called "Jewish Jeans."

JazmenFlowers · #11 02-01-2006, 02:33 PM

it's so funny cause it's so true. there are about 5 women I can think of in my firm that wear these - and the khaki version is worse...

how do you tell a friend and co-worker they have camel toe, are wearing highwaters and their gut is hanging to their knees in a nice, professional way

How about clogs with a patterned sock?

Is she a good enough friend to invite her to go shopping with you? You can casually suggest that she try on a really cute pair of pants that you have discreetly picked out and then compliment how much they flatter her figure!! Sans toe!!

Honest to god, I see camel toe EVERYWHERE and it blows my mind. Hello, uncomfortable?

I have never been able to say anything like this to anyone. But we could kindly refer them to...
