I tend to have expensive tastes when it comes to food and wine. Don't get me wrong, I love my pizza and nachos but one of the best meals I've ever had was when the fam decided to dine out for Thanksgiving.

We went out to an amazing restaurant in the mountains and started off with sauteed bay scallops and caribou carpaccio. Raw meat - I live for it. It was followed by Arctic Char with butter lobster tail..Jesus Christ. Finally was dessert - a chocloate soup with berries, a caramel nest and an edible maple spoon. All washed back with Pouilly Fuisse. Pure heaven - and heart failure.

I'm sure it cost about 5 bucks right?

I wonder if it's open again?

The one in Long Beach is pretty good, too.

To be honest, it wasn't as bad as I thought. Dinner for two including soup & salad with a bottle of wine was $125.

I forgot to say that the burgers at N9NE Fine Irishmen at NYNY in Vegas were fantastic.

David, I was honestly hoping you'd say that your best meal was the hotdog.

I don't really know what my BEST meal was. I've had so many great ones, so I'd have to narrow them down according to food and conversation.
