Looks like she's taken a few years off but we'll be seeing some more in the future.

Last year, strangely she backed out at the last moment from A Prairie Home Companion by Altman and Infamous, the new Capote biography with Sandra Bullock. Hope Davis took her place.

Last night I was watching 'What Lies Beneath" and I was thinking..."where's my girl, Pfeiffer?"

Good to know she's working again. Not that she needs to work, but I need to enjoy her acting abilities.

You feel guilty liking that movie? I was under the impression that it was brilliant black comedy. Death by leg of lamb with "Annie" playing in the background? C'mon. My favorite Kathleen Turner performance and one of John Waters' funniest.

"Pussywillows, Dotty."

And my faovrite:

"You know I don't like the brown word, Chip."

Glad she has a few movies coming out soon. She is probably my favorite actress. She was so evil in White Oleander, but still loveable... That is the last real movie she has been in.

One of his best for sure. This isn't a bad movie at all. Love it when she sings to the birds. "A-wee, A-wee."

And of course recycling to "Daybreak." Too funny.

How about when she kills Ricki's boyfriend with a fire poker and is utterly indignant and offended by the mess that ensues? She was fantastic in that movie. And it's hard not to fall in love with a movie where Turner murders Patricia Hearst with a pay phone because she's wearing white shoes after Labor Day.

That scene is brilliant. Or when she's in the car and runs over the teacher...she's all angry and then tosses it off with a shake of her head and goes back to happy, smiley Mom. Priceless.

Kathleen Turner is wonderful in this role. She also blows me away as Barbara Rose in War Of The Roses. She's a master at dark comedy.

I couldn't agree with you more about Tracey Ullman!

I fell in Image hosting by Photobucket with Tracey's humor during her "Tracey Takes On..." shows. Then again when she came out with her songs in the 80's...they were so funny and campy!

I wrote a review on Imdb.com about her "Live & Exposed" special on HBO, which is the funniest thing I have ever seen on TV!

She always stars in movies that are so bad that they are good...definitely guilty pleasures!

Image hosting by Photobucket

She can take any role and make it her own...she stole the show!

FYI: It's a John Waters film! So if you like his movie, you gotta see it!

Okay, Okay... take "Serial Mom" off my list. In hindsight, I really don't feel guilty for liking it, except for the fact that it just seems wrong to like anything with Ricki Lake in it.

So, with "Serial Mom" gone, let me put this in its place:

Ha! I feel the same way, although, I haven't seen the movie yet --abysmal script has kept me away.

I also feel this way about The New World...I DO NOT want to sit through 2 hours of Colin Ferrell, but Christian Bale is in it and that's the only reason I'm even entertaining seeing it. So far I've only heard bad reviews too.

Oh mine would have to be True Lies with AHHHNOLD. I've probably seen this movie 10 times and I just love it, if for no other reason than to hear the greatest actor ever Bill Paxton utter the line "I got a little dick. It's pathetic!!!"
