You are probably right I have a 25 year old daughter and her life is always filled with drama that I never really experienced in my 20's. I guess I was always an old soul type of person. I do watch it with my hubby because he likes the show but he gives me those looks everytime I make comments about the interns

You know, because I thought you'd like the show?

I think the black female doctor has just as much a "jello brain" as any of the rest, if not more. Just cause she's meaner, doesn't mean she's smarter.
According to my watch, all the girls have been pretty darn medically knowledgeable since the beginning of the show. And everyone has been "wise" at some point.
Yes, it's a bit more sophomoric then the real doctor's life would be.
Of course everything has to be more dramatic and sexy. That's how TV is.
This show, so far, definitely has okay writing and pretty darn good acting. I guess we'll see how it holds up, and it's not...uh...George Bernard Shaw? or anything....Although it might have a smidge of Edward Albee, and a bare touch of Tennessee Williams...which ain't half bad. To hyperbolize.
OK, I'll give this show another chance. It was pretty funny when Meredith and McDreamy was in the same room as Meredith's "one night stand" patient and McDreamy had to find out that the guy and Meredith had sex I love Desperate Housewives and it is almost as quirky as this show but I like the characters on that show alot better.

Sometimes I watch The Real World with my roommate and they always seem so stupid. Then I have to remind myself they are all about 21-23In this day and age they are still just kids! Say something nice about one of the characters this Sunday and watch your husband's look of shock!

I'm going through withdrawal, since most of my shows are reruns right now. Last night was particularly difficult for me because I live for Grey's Anatomy on Sunday nights.

So I went over to a Grey's Anatomy message board to read about some of the upcoming episodes. The title of the next episode to air is "Tell Me Sweet Little Lies". At least one of the writers must be a Mac fan!

Sweet. Nice new pic in your sig. I watched Christmas Vacation last nite which was an okay stand-in for me.

New one on the other night. So. He's McDreamy again. Hmmmm.

I also have to add that I LOVE Sandra Oh. She's fantastic.

I'm just now getting into this show, and wonder how I ever got by without it? Is this the second season? I love this!

Nope it's the first. I missed the first month or two, but I'm really into it now.

McDreamy & wife took the dog. It was a bit odd. Meredith, Izzy & George took the dog to his trailer. Christina's BF told her he's glad she moved in with him & she said "me too" even thought we all know she really didn't. That's all I remember.

Oh man, that evil wench has the dog? Great. That is really weird. They're making too much of the fact she kept her apartment, IMO. So what, its a modern romance! Hehe. Of course she should tell him. Silly girl.

D'oh. Shows you what I know. Was it a midseason replacement, or did I really miss an entire year?

Just a midseason replacement. I've tried to get into it, though, but I just can't. I love The Dempsey, but the show is just blah. All of that silly voiceover sludge and the "Oh, we're so hip because we worked a hot indie song into the show" **** drives me BONKERS. Not to mention the fact that the character of Grey is a poor man's Ally McBeal and is oh so utterly obnoxious. That bitch doesn't deserve a man.
