That's how he ALWAYS looks. he's never looked "conventional" or appropriate for awards shows. Compared to past outfits/costumes, he looked great this time, IMO.

Joaquin looked bloated & tired. I felt sad, cuz I ordinarily think he's gorgeous.

OMFG! Hideous!

I'd only seen the disasterous hair during the Globes, since I only saw her sitting down. But this is disgusting, head to toes!

Ellen Pompeo:

I knew she reminded me of someone, and I finally figured it out during the show. The squinty eyes make her look a lot like Renee Zellweger. She even sounds kinda like her.

My favorite dress was Sandra Oh's. Second fave, Hillary swank's and Natalie Portman's. I thought virginia madsen's was not that great. I thought Teri Hatcher's dress was the best of the Housewives. Felicity Huffman's second best.
I'm late, just wanted to say that, though. Oh, and I'm happy for BBM, and also I cried almost the whole way through the awards, I always do.

I didn't think it was that bad. I thought the white looked good on her. I hadn't seen the bottom, though, either. Before I thought the collarline was a bit too wide, now I think it was way too wide. Not my least favorite by a longshot though, and I certainly wouldn't call it hideous. At least it wasn't some disgusting Florida color.

I thought the pattern was ok, but it was a poor cut for her. Something about the bustline just made it unflattering and generic looking... like a rejected prom dress. Love Virginia Madsen and the color was beautiful on her, but it didn't look right. However, with all the actual trainwrecks on that red carpet, I definitely wouldn't have put her at the top of a "Worst Dressed" list. Maybe just a "Try Harder Next Time" list.

right. I said that in an earlier post that it needed to be tailored a bit.

Michelle Wiliams is just gorgeous no matter how you slice it. I like Kate Beckinsale enough but I think she is dreadfully boring looking. Yawn...

Snaggletooth twig that is. That girl needs to eat a ****in' cheeseburger.

Are you saying this as a nod to him being gay? If so I never would have guessed it of him.

Did you see any of the fashion wrap-up with Joan and Melissa? I caught a few minutes of it and they were commenting on how Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams looked so bored, as if they didn't even want to be there. Melissa said something about Williams looking especially blah and Joan says "Well, she just found out he was gay." Then later on she remarked how funny it was that "It took a movie about two homos to bring them together and bear a child."

I didn't see the Joan and Melissa thing. Are H.L. and M.W. together?? What happened to Naomi Watts?? I'm out of the loop.

I would not have either; nor have I heard that rumor. So, I was a little shicked when I saw that. But, it could have been a friend. Who did he take to the ceremony?

Then, when Ryan "I am the most irrelevant thing since Ashton Kutcher" Seacrest said "its okay - HE'S GAY" afterward and La Mizrahi (sp.?) sliced him with the I know you are dying to see my underwear Ryan remark Ah good times.

I have no idea. If he is gay, I have a few friends who will be ecstatic! Lordy what that movie did for his career...
