Ok now I have a real problem with this. I recently started seeing patients on Sunday afternoons that have no other way to get eyecare. How in the world could this break a commandment?!!

I prefer the Seven Deadly Sins, and I am guilty of them all, I think. Lately? Rocking the gluttony & lust.

Okay, here's one I thought about. What if your neighbor is in his 60s, has a single 28 year old daughter, and you're a single 30 year old man. Is God saying that it would be breaking a commandment to ask a single woman out on a date just because she lives with her dad, who just so happens to be your neighbor?

Maybe your patients are Jewish or Seventh-Day Adventists, in which case Sunday is not their Sabbath (Saturday is).

So they're still onboard with the Commandments!

I try say "Rhiannon" or "Ra" instead of "God", because God doesn't want us to take his name in vain (Agnostic anyway, just better to get 'em all on your side), while other Gods didn't specify. Now, really, if I were God, I'd much rather they went around swearing to me instead of swearing to Welsh Witches or Sun Gods/Very Large Beetles.

Guilty of all of the above...

I know. Hospitals don't have a holiday...or a Sabbath for that matter. I work every Sunday.

Damn. Which version/interpretation is this?- I have never seen it put this way. It is amazing to me how so many people think of God as a jealous tyrant, trembling at his feet the avoid to eternal flames of hell. Poor people. I am sorry for everyone that is afraid of God. How AWFUL.
