Lindseys long coat

[johndoe]

Okay. Personally, I thought it looked like something a kid who was going to pull out a gun and kill his class mates would wear.

Sorry its kinda blurry. I had to resize it, or else it would have been microscopic. The video player i was working with was really messed up. But yeah.

I also took video of the computer screen since everyone seems to be against simply going to throwndown.net and watching it, but the file won't load onto my computer. This is a nice dark silhouetted shot of it.

Have you watched the clip? He looks mighty, mighty, mighty fine jamming around on stage in his long coat. Oh yes. It should be his new stage wear. Out with the white blouse, bring on the long coat for the next tour.

There's a clip? Where?!

EDIT: OK, just read back those and worked out it was on throwndown.net. Obviously. What can I say? It's late and I'm tired!

LOVE the coat.

The clips over on www.throwndown.net.

He sounds HORRIBLE, though. I dunno what it was. His voice was like. Too low. Or sometime.

I happen to like the "duster" or "long coat" look....its reminiscent of the Marlboro man or Clint Eastwood before he got his poncho
I believe it was The Good, The Bad, The Ugly........the last of the trilogy but the one that explains the poncho in the other two....go figure. (I believe his duster was a cavalry coat from the Union regiment, but Im sure a movie buff can confirm/deny)

anyway, its the ultimate "ride the range," "loner" kinda gear. now I gotta go out and get one for meself. sheesh.

lucky me! I found a picture of an actual Civil War coat:

but I actually prefer this look:

LB wore a coat onstage very similar...I've never heard that before! Does anyone have pics?

I know the one you are talking about. Was it the Brit awards, maybe? It looked great on Lindsey. It was black and looked almost like velvet.

A great western that features long trench coats (and at least three sets of brothers) was The Long Riders, from 1980. Here's a pic
