I don't know. I'm pretty recent! Sahara got me into them, so I had to wait for _her_ to get her act together!

Well, like I say, I don't doubt there are Irish Fleetwood Mac fans. I just doubt they're my age ('cept Sahara and the girl in my school), and I doubt they're in Carlow.

And then again, it doesn't take much to sell out any Irish venue, they're not what you'd call big. I hope it was good enough and popular enough for them to come back though!! You listening, Stevie? Lindsey?

Im a percentage person and i would say the chances of them comming back are in the High 80's. Basing this on the fact that Fleetwood Mac Have been on the go so long now that they will definately have a fairwell tour (i'd imagine ) before they hang up their notes. Now due to the fact the original founders originated in the UK they would probably like to acknowledge those fans also by touring the uk and Ireland
Dont however assume their next tour will in anyway be a fairwell tour.
With that in mind they could possibly tour with a new album in 2007 im assuming here that lindsey will never complete his solo and stevie will throw in a few tracks and it will kinda be an "organic" thing again but hey "it feels weird". Anyway after another album or to at the most we will get the biggest FM Blast ever so get readdy for that one folks.

I will be in the front row at the Point and the Odessey all being well. See you all there.

Rock on MAC Daddy

I'll be there in the seat beside you. Can. Not. Wait!

PS: Virtually every tour they've done in recent years could have been a "farewell tour". As Stevie says: "Let's just say a prayer and hope it goes on forever!"

Amen, Stevie. I was thinking that myself. But they're going to keep going forever. Stevie and Mick'll _make_ 'em. No more getting away like Christine. John and Lindsey are good and stuck now!

That's one of my breakers. If the girl hates Mac or Stevie, then it isn't going to work. They don't have to be a fan, but if they say hate....cya! Mac and Stevie have been around me for over 30 years so if I have to choose....

A bit off topic, but Top5 Fleetwood mac was on Vh1 last night! Wish I had known it! I missed numbers 5 and 4 . Number 3 was Rhiannon (an old live footage, I didn't see what it was exactly), n.2 was Big Love and 1 was Little lies.
Does anyone know what they other two might have been?

Oh, I didn't have that either until 2 months ago. (We don't get those channels in Greece, you have to have something like a cable-satellite thingy. My fiance arranged it a while ago so that he can watch all those ESPN channels (he's crazy about NFL), so I take advantage and watch VH1..)

Anyway, I am not even sure if it's the same VH1 they have in the US. Probably it's a european version or something. And to tell you the truth, Fleetwood Mac and Stevie are not so often on it as I had expected .

Well, I wouldn't care if it was European. And it'd have to be better than nothing. I think you need satellite or really, really good cable to get VH1 in Ireland too. I don't know anyone who has it that doesn't pay an awful lot every month or whatever...

Actually we do pay something like 50 euros per month and I was very reluctant at first because of that, but -believe me-tv programs in Greece are horrible most of the time, so we decided to do it so that we can watch a decent movie or program. And since we spend most of the week nights watching tv (I hate to admit that, but it's true!) we figured it's ok.
I guess in Ireland things are not that bad maybe?

I wouldn't really know enough to tell you for sure, I don't think... Well, I used to be the same, I used to watch TV almost every night. Now I'd be on the computer more instead. I don't know if that's any better, but at least I keep in touch with people and I can get the odd project or whatever done... Very odd projects... TV in Ireland is generally very bad, I would say. Lots of people I know only have four channels, and there's a lot of crap on. Lot so people get cable or whatever for the English channels. I don't know if a lot of them are actually much better than what we get, but at least there's more choice!
