OH NO!!!!!!

Have you seen the movie Scream before?

Go turn the alarm off, unlock the doors, crack your windows, and turn Scream on.

Then get back to us!

Thanks,
Charles

Just make sure you are safe and you daughter is too. I'm not saying get a gun or anything, but you do whatever you feel YOU need to to be safe. There are plenty of assholes out there that would do whatever harm they could to you or your property.

Yesterday was quite the day. Around 5 pm, I was sitting here working away when I noticed a helicopter hovering over my house. I went outside and looked up and saw it was a news copter, so I turned on the evening news to see the house down the street with an abandoned pickup truck on the front lawn. Turns out there was a carjacking, chase and then the carjackers fled on foot. So I took a deep breath and made sure the deadbolt was locked. that's really all you can do.

Not a bad idea. I'll talk to Derek about that after he gets off work.

I'm sure they won't be back. I was thinking that it sounds like someone is pissed at your neighbor. Why would anyone break out ALL the windows on someone's car, unless it was revenge?! I'm thinking that your neighbor should be very worried, and you can rest a little easier. Take care our yourself and try to focus on that.

Me too. If I was betting on it, I would bet on the "someone's getting revenge on the neighbor" theory.

I thought about that too. They seem so quiet. I hardly see them, and they're middle aged. I'm either on the revenge theory, or the dumbass teenager theory.

Dumbass teenager theory is possible, but Man, that is a lot of work for a stupid prank. Still betting on the revenge theory. Somebody's cheating on someone. The other woman/man gets pissed. BOOM! no windows.

I don't know, when I was a teen my friends did some pretty stupid things. It might have just been that. Check with the police? Ask your neighbors what happened?

I'm going to when I get home tonight. You can't come knocking on my door late at night without expecting me to be nosey the next day!!!

On dumbass teenager theory: I am only about the 4th house into the edition, which makes my neighbors the third, and it is the last car parked on the street before going out on the main road. Easy access, quick getaway. A "hey, I dare you to...." possibly?

Thieves can be pretty stupid, AND LAZY. My vehicle was broken into, a couple years ago. After breaking one window........UNlocking the doors would've been too easy!!!,so they broke another window, again, RATHER THAN HIT THE UNLOCK BUTTON!! Idiot was so drunk/drugged, he was passed out, literally face down in a plate of food, at his table, when the cops arrested him.
