Well, I mean, is it that much of a surprise this is fake? Stevie isn't like Maddona every move she makes is in the newspaper celebrity, but I'm sure that if she had a stroke it would be EVERYWHERE. And since it wasn't, I right away assumed it was fake.

But the guys a bastard for starting it...

I am glad to hear that Stevie is OK! I figured that it was a rumour. I remember that someone started a rumour that she had breast cancer a few years ago. I also remember that someone who had a name similar to Stevie's passed away a few years ago and that was the source of some conflicting stories. It turned out that it was actually some football coach or something that had actually passed away.

That's kind of what I thought. I mean, let's be honest and say FM aren't that huge anymore (on the same level as say Madonna, Jessica Simpsons, etc; I'm not saying they're better, but in today's media and pop culture they get more coverage) but they were once one of the biggest bands in the world with one of the biggest selling albums of all time. Anyways, something would probably make the news.

The only thing that got me wondering was the history of people knowing things on the board before they were made public (ex. Jesse Nick's death)

I'm am so glad to hear that it is just a rumour. Thanks to the people who e-mailed, called, etc. and set the record straight!

lets hope it's not true - but if it is -
small strokes are very common in people even in their 50's - especially over weight people - so if it happened, i'm sure she'll make a full recovery.

(With "if" being the word) hopefully it was similar to the one my doctor believed I had in the recent past...Which was minor, but the remnants of it is very evident in the recent MRI I had done on my skull/brain (Didnt even know I had one til "Doogie" mentioned it after examining the MRI results)

Good luck with "any" health issue you may have Ms.Nicks....

Have we established that it is indeed BG? I suppose he would be a usual suspect for this kind of thing but I was just wondering if someone somehow found out he was the source of this.

I am just very glad JK (thanks to Caitlyn) responded so quickly to this. If this would have festered on over days it would have been awful for everyone, and poor Stevie would have had to do an emergency LIVE interview to finally stop the rumor mill.

True and add in smoking 3 packs of menthols a day for 15 or so years and doing enough coke to keep a Colombian cartel in business for a year into the mix and the risk goes even higher.I am glad it was just the rantings of yet another troll though.
