Actually if this is somebody's idea of a sick joke, I'll be so pleased. Disgusted, but pleased. My mom had a stroke a few years ago. It can be some wicked, wicked sh*t. The idea that Stevie may have sufferred a stroke terrifies me.

I think it's best to think nothing of it at this point. People can take something someone said and blow it up into something big, so I'd rather wait to actually hear it officially before I comment on it.

A MINOR stroke can be nothing. Look at that 30 year old Patriots player Tedy Bruschi- he had a minor stroke and he his back to normal. It doesn't have to be the end of Stevie, even if true. I hope if this true, it is MINOR.But I hope this proves to be totally untrue, like everyone else here.

I'd like to suggest that we all remember that this is just a rumor right now.
Stevie would probably consider it pretty stupid if we let it ruin our Holidays.
And also let's keep in mind that the rumour is about a MINOR stroke - so if it's even true, it could have been worse. If it's true, I'm sure John will post something as soon as he's told what to do. So let's just pray for her and "WISH her WELL" right now.

This is quite shocking, I really hope it's not true, even if as some others said, if that happened there could be a news embargo to the media. Anyway, just to be sure she's alright (as I think), the idea of alarmed emails to Nicksfix hoping to have an official statement, sounds great.

I agree, I'll be emailing as well. The higher the volume the quicker the response. I really can't think of any reason why not to. Rumours like these happen, and I think they would want to know to clarify things.

As Curtis mentioned, there was word about her dad passing a few days before it was officially announced.. i should know, i was unfortunately the bringer of that bad news...

but this is something i havent heard of... if this is true, it would be so devastating.. please god, do not let this be the case...

I called John and he said he hasnt heard anything of it and also that he hasnt recieved any E~mail from her manager...he told me that he will call Stevie's brother and ask him...He will call me back with more details.

OK John JUST called me back......he said that Stevie is fine and it was all just a nasty rumour.....again Stevie is A OKAY!!!!
