I've searched all over the net, including Stevie's own site and fan sites, and there is absolutely nothing reporting that Stevie had a stroke or has fallen ill. Let's just pray that there was some sort of miscommunication and that Stevie is doing well.

I almost find this hard to believe... But I hope it's someones sick joke! Plus, do you think they would plaster that on the nicksfix with specifics??... I almost think not! They may generalize something like that and just call it an illness...

Anyone in AU heard anything about cancelled dates and such??

I think they would post it on the Fix if tourdates are cancelled, Yes. Also, if another media outlet were going to report, maybe her site would say something? I am praying for her.

Not saying this is true or anything, but we all did hear about her dad's passing a few days before it was posted on her site and in the media. I just think it's total random for someone to say that Stevie Nicks had a stroke without it having some kind of info behind it....or just call me naive. I do hope it's total random,though.

Strange...it actually crossed my mind at work yesterday how heartbroken I would be if I heard that one of the Mac'ers was sick or dying. I can't fully express on a thread how much I hope this isn't true.

I think about that a lot too and I would be devastated. I really hope this is miscommunication, or an error. What a tragedy it would be.

You know, sick as it may sound, I've often thought of how I would feel if Stevie became really ill or passed away. I hope with all my heart that she is okay. Does anyone here know the Nicks Fix guy well enough to e-mail him?

Same here. I'm sure it's not true though, like RockALittle250 says, there's nothing but a single rumour to say that it did happen ... praying nonetheless.

If this is somebody's sick joke, I am going to be royally, royally pissed.

But I doubt the validity of the 'report'. I mean, where would that person get this information? What kind of inside sources would he/she have?

That's exactly what I was thinking. This could easily remain private if it happened, there is no reason for anyone else to know about it except her doctor. It seems like the only leak could be someone at her doctors', or if Jess told one of her friends. But usually doctors who treat famous people keep things secret, and I'm sure Jess is supposed to as well. So, who else would know and tell?

To hell with knowing him well enough! I e-mailed him anyway. Maybe if enough concerned fan e-mails are sent, they will issue some sort or statement, at least on the NicksFix.
But I too have doubts about the validity of this e-mail. I feel sure the people in Stevie's inner circle, who would likely be the only one's who would know about such an event, would be randomly e-mailing this information.
