Nah, it's just that instead of a generic "put on another record," I thought it was cuter to name a band that I know for a fact that you like.

I love whimsical music... for example, Todd Rundgren's "An Elpee's Worth Of Toons" is one of my all-time favorite songs (and I'm still convinced that that song, and that album, influenced L.B. more than punk music did).

Ah... I get it now.

If I ever figure out how to use Frontpage and decide on a color/graphics scheme, I'm supposed to take over their official website.

Ahh, now this is more like it.

I can....

- dance pretty good. Dance was required in our drama department in high school, 'cause the teacher wanted us to be "triple threats" (although I never got the hang of the singing part)

- whip you at "Mortal Kombat". It's not much of anything to brag about, but I used to spend time perfecting the fatalities when I had nothing better to do

- play the synth/keyboards, to a fault. I've only managed to perfect the opening chords to "Seven Wonders" and Van Halen's "Jump", but it's a start.

- stay up for hours on end. Insomnia runs in the family.

- quote "Golden Girls" dialogue at will. I can't count how many times I'll be talking to someone and go "Oh that reminds me of this one episode, where Dorothy says..."

- remember really pointless facts, such as what I had for dinner on some night in 1993.

- play badminton, kinda. I suck when I first start out, but once I warm up I get pretty good at it.

- recognize just about any song after just a few bars... what can I say? I'm an audiophile.

- multi-task pretty good.

- kick some ass at Trivial Pursuit (this goes back to the "remembering random pointless facts" thing)

And Jannie, I too can sing the States song! I can't believe I STILL remember that after all these years.

I can also play the keyboard, sing, speak Swedish, read Swedish, Old Norse, Danish, Norwegian, Spanish, and a little Portuguese.
