Yeah, i think that sony are out of stock because i tried ordering it to stock in my store, and they have it backordered, so i guess they are waiting on more stock - i would send them another email by next week if you have'nt had any confirmation of any kind
No, that's cool. I know how school can be.

Thanks for checking up, I had a feeling that was the case.

And I don't mind waiting for it, since it's going to be worth it.

Yeah, NTF is certainly an aquired taste. I love the song and performance. Christine on the other side of the stage playing that upright piano.

And of course smoking that joint adds to the fun of it all.

Okay, I got it. I have to say the screen quality is ten times better than the vcd copy that I had, but I am still not at all satisfied with the sound quality. Though it says Dolby 2.0 Stereo on the cover (and it might just be that), it's still VHS sound quality, and it sounds like you turned up your volume way too loud on an old stereo tv. It creaks and at the high notes I can't help but cringe. I tried every setting on my surround set, and the creaking won't go away.

But, the cover is great, the sound quality of the Stevie videos is excellent for2.0 Stereo, and as I said, the video quality is better than I expected. So, I think I got my money's worth, I just wish the sound was better. I don't dare turn up the volume too loud, or my ears will suffer damage.

Oh, and it's definitely Region 0, so far it has played on all the dvd-players I have tested it on.

Well, I'll damned. As I am watching the Mirage dvd, which had just come in all the way from New Zealand, a friend of mine calls me up to tell me he found a Fleetwood Mac dvd on sale in some record store. So, I go, which one? And he says, Mirage Concert 82. Fug! It only costs 5 bucks here, has a slightly different cover, there are no Stevie videos, but it has 5.1 and DTS surround sound.

So, I guess I ordered that all for nothing. I had no idea they were available here. My punishment for being lazy and not investigating first.

I got it in a simple Dutch record and DVD shop.
If i remembered well, the original version was released november 1984 in Netherlands. Still got it ( VHS pal-secam). The DVD version is not very good. I got the feeling they didn't do anything about the quality. Both footage and sound are quiet hazy. The sound is terrible, no dynamic, like recording without "Dolby C".

The picturing is typical '80's. A lot of interference, with over red and blue.

Otherwise, it's not worse comparing to the VHStape.
Anyway, it's a document, and i'm happy with it.

Will

yeah, I found it too. For 7 euros and 99 cents. The soundquality is horrific.

Merry Xmas, to all of you, and.... happy Newyear
