Onstage? Waddy was essentially it ... until the 1989 tour.

There was another guy that was in her band from about 1981 -1983. He was in two concert videos on Thrown Down .net website.

Waddy was Stevie's only guitarist onstage.

Maybe you're thinking about the bass player. Bob Glaub played bass in 1981 & Wizard played bass in 1983.

Could the experts please refresh my memory why Waddy left? Was he just sick of the whole thing?

Sick of her drug induced craziness. I heard a few years ago that she pretty much begged him to play for her in 1996 and during Enchanted and he said "um, no thanks". Stevie has made no secret of the fact that she lost many friends and burned lots of bridges during this time in her life. Waddy. Jimmy. Lindsey etc. Thankfully she got her **** together and rebuilt her damaged relationships. I am not a huge Waddy fan but he does seem to genuinely care about Stevie. (not romantically )

Are you talking about Bob Glaub, her bass player?

That's weird. Didn't he go in the studio & lay down lots of guitar work for the "Street Angel" album in '93 & '94?

Keith Richards did a solo tour, & Waddy was his co-lead guitarist.

Actually, he's credited on Whole Lotta Trouble from '89. He's on nearly every song on Street Angel.
He even played on Sometimes It's A Bitch.
