Oh, and don't worry- the Pats may be 8-5 now, but they'll finish 11-5! It's the entire NFC conference that's the REAL joke.

Yup, my Vikings are right on the Bears ass now. Those Bears are SOOOOO overrated it's not funny. Stevie NIcks at quarterback for them would almost be an improvement..

Put the salt-shaker down and step away from the wound.

The NFC is still weaker than the AFC no doubt, but its too bad that both Seattle and Indianapolis wont have much to play for when the meet the next to the last game of the season. Seattle is one of those teams that alot of people havent heard much about except for Shaun Alexander. BTW speaking of him, and this isnt meant to diss Ladanian Tomlinson, but everybody talks about LT like he's JIm Brown reincarnated, I think ALexander is every bit as good if not better.

We'll just have to wait until next year when Alexander is on some OTHER team (and probably in a bigger market than Seattle...like, say THE RAIDERS?), since he mostly likely won't re-sign with the S'Hawks.

Wait a minute. You're telling me that Mr Moneybags himself Paul Allen wont open up his checkbook for HIM? I know theres the issue of the cap, and maybe that s it, but Seattle would be nowhere without him.

Yes I am. The thing that annoys me is that, with the exception of this past Sunday, they really haven't been playing that badly - it's not like they're getting blown out or anything. But they have it in the palm of their hands & then blow it at the end. So annoying.

This week is a Saturday night home game!!! We actually may have a chance at beating Denver. Plus, rumour has it that Kelly Holcomb may return as QB cuz Losman has a shoulder injury.

I heard too that there's alot of dissention going on with the coach, like the players are fed up with him, and that's part of the problem.

It's the curse of those ugly CFL/arena league cast-off uniforms...they need to either go back to the uni's they had when Jim Kelly & Thurman Thomas were playing or go ALL the way back to the uni's they had when Jack Kemp was their QB.

Yeah, I think Denver will roll this weekend. BTW their center, Bem Hamilton went to my high school here in Minnesota

I don't get the uniforms either. You're right - Kelly era were best. Jack Kemp era uniforms? Ugh, no thanks.

And we shall see about our chances on Saturday. You never know.

The Chargers need to go back to their beautiful powder blue unis for good - not just 2 games a year. I like the Bills unis - older ones and the newer ones. I have to say if I had to pick though, I'd pick the ones with the little Buffalo on the helmet.
The Pats unis are cool, and the older ones are too. Choosing between old and new Pat unis is a toss up for me.

AMEN!!! I'd even settle for the Dan Fouts-era unis/helmets. The unis since the Spanoses took over make 'em look like their wrapped in the Greek flag.

First choice:

Second choice:

Third choice:

Just get rid of THESE:

OK, my super quick Peyton Manning encounter. Very friendly guy. I can tell he likes kids. He came out of what seemed like no where, and I was in the exact right spot. He tried to shake Sara's hand, but he's a big tall dude, and she was intimidated, so she burried her head in my belly. So, I shook his hand instead, and asked him how his ankle felt. (he tripped during Sunday's game ) He kinda chuckled and told me he was fine. He shook a few other kids' hands and some parents, and the media was all over him. So, he did his interviews, went down the big slide with a few kids, went to see Santa with the kids, and that was the last I saw of him. He gave out shirts, hats, and wristbands. The pictures of the kids' with Santa were free, the carousel ride was free, and a pizza dinner was provided free. It was really great what he did for those kids'. Most were underpriveliged children; our group was grieving children, kids from Special Olympics were there. It really was a great time. I only took a few pics, but since Sara wouldn't shake his hand, I couldn't get a pic of them together, and I wasn't going to ask for mine to be taken with him.
