^^ Right - it's that Group A Strep. That's what the article I posted is about, too. It wasn't your run-of-the-mill pneumonia. Tragic. He was such a huge talent.

Exactly. Super rare disease and I was just sharing another article.

Interestingly enough, there is huge speculation that since Henson was a Christian Scientist, it was with that influence that he disregarded medical care and paid the ultimate price. Basically with CS beliefs, if God doesn't heal you, you're fuked.

I am better puddin. I had "walking pneumonia" and the doctors say its going around. I am still weak, and coughing a lot, but feel more normal. I am going back for XRays next week after taking my anti-biotics to make sure my lungs are clearing up.

have you managed to mess w/guitar lately? curious if youre the type to push everything away when you dont feel well or ? if youve been working too (and you probably have!) i hope youre sure to bundle up and all that good stuff (e.g. take care of yourself and dont work so hard!) thanks for your reply...ive sure been missing you

Hey Demon...so glad you finally went to the Doc. Aren't you glad? Walking Pneumonia is not something to play with. Isn't it interesting how this Muppet discussion you started got you thinking about what you had and what happened to Jim Henson (a boyhood hero I've mine I might add). Glad you bit the wallet and took care of yourself. Heal fast.

On a side note, ever see the Jim Henson StoryTeller's show? It's on DVD now, the first Storyteller's and then the Greek Myths. Great stuff especially if I have insomnia.

Yeah Richard....I was looking up my symptoms at the time online and came across the Jim Henson story. It was scaring me actually because I dont recall ever having felt like I did. I am bullheaded and HATE going to the doctor, for any reason....well I let it go and it got out of hand, and I got sicker than I would have, had I just gone to the doctor. *sigh*....at least it kept me on my ass for 3 weeks and I didnt go out and blow money on booze.

For years, there has been been a debate as to whether or not Bert and Ernie were really gay. Speculation died down a bit after Bert was seen publicly with Pamela Anderson. The couple would frequently show public displays of affection.

However, Muppet Insider has uncovered that the affair was infact a cover-up. Bert and Pamela have the same agent, and he felt that it would help both of their careers if they were seen being intimate in public together. Photos from a secret Muppet Insider agent discovered that not only were Bert and Ernie indeed an item, but would frequently have mad Muppet sex during their off time.

What was shocking, however, was the discovery that Kermit The Frog not only has a severe freebasing problem, and has nearly set himself a blaze on several occasions, but would have mad Muppet sex with any Muppet, puppet, or doll he could get his slimey green hands on.

O.k.....I USED to think Kermit was this innocent, cute, little frog- and a helluva guy to boot. But now I am scarred.

I'm sorry..I'll be right back-I have to go rub gasoline in my eyes to get that image out. And I'm not even sure THAT will work....but it's worth a try...
