Anyone know which has the better selection/quality of photos? Are they both pretty much the same? I was thinking about getting an account for a month and update my photo library and then cancel my subscription, if I can even do that. It's like $75/month. I'd pay the $10/month but you can't get any photos over a year old unless you pay the $75. Anyone got any info on these sites?

I have a few friends who work for both Getty and WireImage since I used to be in that industry: celebrity photo agencies.
It used to be that you had to have some sort of media affiliation to even have a user account, paid or not. I will ask my peeps what is the current deal. As for the agencies themselves, they are pretty much the same, with WireImage getting the most exclusive events. They have hundreds of freelance photographers and some events will look better than others, depending on who shot it and what team did the photo editing. |
