There's a live verison of Stevie's Silent Night that sounds better than the record. [Yeah, I said record, and I'll probably never stop! It is still always "record" in my head then I say "CD".] I hated the VSC version too for a long time but it has grown on me. I'm much more tolerant of Stevie's annoying vocal period now.

Bob Rivers' Twisted Christmas

All three (is there a fourth this year?) Bob Rivers albums are hilarious.

My faves (in no particular order after the first five):

Happy Xmas (War Is Over) --- John & Yoko
Linus & Lucy --- Vince Guaraldi Trio
Santa Claus Is Coming To Town --- Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band
Merry Christmas Baby --- BB King
Run Rudolph Run --- Keith Richards (or Chuck Berry...or Dave Edmunds)
Holy **** It's Christmas --- Red Peters
O Holy Night --- Nat King Cole
The Christmas Song --- Mel Torme or Nat King Cole
Little Drummer Boy/Peace On Earth --- Bing Crosby & David Bowie
Wonderful Christmastime --- Paul McCartney & Wings
Christmas All Over Again --- Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Christmas Time Is Here Again --- The Beatles (and another later version by Ringo on his own)

I like it more and more everytime I put it on. Which is a lot now that I have begun my "Nothing But Christmas Music" regimen for the season.
