Default Plastic Surgery Harms Voice?
So, I'm in the works for a nose job and heard recently that it could change the tonality, quality and a slew of other things about my voice. Not that I expect to be discovered or anything, but I really don't want my voice harmed in any way b/c of the nose job (just in case) . Anyone got facts or opinions on this?

I've never heard of that. I've had a nose job and it never did anything to my voice.

I don't know if you know who Connie Francis is but her voice completely changed after a botched nose job.

I've heard it can change your voice. Also, my mom had one and it changed her smile.

Cher's had her nose and everything else done and her voice doesn't seem to have changed all that much.

no facts, but my opinion is...
you don't need a nose job - what - do you have that tiny bump? No one cares. I thought your nose was cute. And if it looks good from the front, you're golden. (strangely, my nose looks better from the side. But this isn't about me.)
You should save that surgery money for some more important surgery!!! (I, myself, will be heading to Botoxville soon).

Also - you say you don't want to be discovered, but I think you do. You've tried out for AI, twice? And you were all excited about working with that producer, and you sing all the time. Lets not kid ourselves, mmkay?
I think you should wait another year or so at least. Sometimes we gain perspective over time...
