Jason, I could not have said it better myself. Phillip was brilliant in this.

I'm going to see WALK THE LINE this afternoon...

I like her. Season four of Alias sucked so horribly (not all, but most) that I actually missed her. Never thought I'd admit that, either.

I just got back from seeing it. I was blown away. It was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time and I thought Joaquin & Reese did amazing jobs as Johnny & June. Go see this movie! Seriously!

I saw Harry Potter at midnight when it came out. It was really good.

I haven't seen anything before that in theaters in months.

Season 4 equates as fantastic in my book compared to this new crap season. Although, did you hear? Merf and I are rejoicing over Sark's return on the 7th- in a several episode stint that is rumored to include him wearing a COCK SOCK. Praise be, etc.

The only thing I've ever seen Melissa George in that I didn't HATE was her as the Conan-obsessed nympho in Sugar & Spice.

Hopefully that gives this new season a little bit of redemption for you two.

I gave up after the third episode of the season. It's just too awful that I fear watching any more of it will sully everything Alias for me. It's quite depressing to think that this is likely going to be the final season and this is the way it's going to go out; by embarrassing itself.

Never saw it. Nor did I see The Amityville Horror. There aren't enough drugs that would make that an enjoyable experieince, I'm sure.

Haven't been to the movies in quite some time. Going to see Harry Potter tomorrow night in Philadelphia at the Franklin Institute (IMAX theater -- i'm praying we get there early enough so we're at the top of the theater-- if not, i'll be dizzy -- sitting down too far is vomit-inducing) and then I plan on seeing Goodnight and Good Luck for some extra credit in my Cable and Broadcasting in America class

Good christ, I went to see a documentary on Mt. Everest over the summer at the Imax theater here in Boston at the museum and I thought I was going to die. I.thought.I.was.going.to.die. My ass was sitting right in the middle of the theater and I had to close my eyes every five minutes because I consistently felt the urge to purge. And then there was Liam Neeson's narration, blasting in my ears. Oy.

Philadelphia is 45 minutes away from here ( here being school -- I can spit on Pennsylvania -- Yardley is 3 miles away) but I hadn't planned on driving down to Philadelphia until Tuesday night (I live right there) but apparently, i'm nominated to drive I'm going to be pissed if we get there, have paid for tickets, and the only open seats are in the middle or the front. I will literally pass out. And I will want to leave. I went and saw Forces of Nature a while back (hurricanes, earthquakes, etc) -- we were initially sitting five rows down from the top. We had to move to the very top row because I was getting so dizzy. I'm starting to think watching Harry fly on an IMAX screen is not in my best interest.

No theaters lately, but I finally saw Million Dollar Baby at home. It was pretty good. I wasn't blown away. Don't know if it (and she) deserved those Oscars, but still good. Clint did not annoy me at all, which is really saying something. I really liked the dynamic between him & Freeman.

I had to laugh when my dad said "she looks like that girl from the last Karate Kid movie!"

Also saw Alot Like Love at my in-law's house. Eh. I can tolerate Kutcher, but I'm not a big fan. Not too many laughs in the movie - his sister was the best part, she kept calling him a dick.

Oh - I rented Empire Falls a couple of weeks ago. Not as good as the book, but I thought the acting was superb. Paul Newman esp.

I'm so happy today, I've known Walk The line would be shown also here during a festival, long before its release. I really want to see it, I'm always been a Whiterspoon supporter, she has such a huge talent hidden under her down to earth attitude.

I really like her, too. I was a big fan as soon as I saw "Election."

I liked her a lot also in that Hollywood extravaganza that was Cruel Intentions. She built a solid character in that teen delirium.
