Thanksgiving plans are very mellow for me this year. Normally I head up to San Francisco to be with my family. My brother has his wedding anniversary, my sister-in-law has her birthday and she is expecting my nephew on December 7th, then a bris 8 days later.
So with that in mind, I'm doing Thanksgiving with my cuz (my best friend too) here at my place. She and I are very unconventional so I'm making Turkey Spaghetti for Thanksgiving. One of my specialties. The red wine will flow...

I love you.

I'm cooking at a homeless shelter for half the day, then I'm going to my mother's house for Thanksgiving with the usual crew of people I can't stand; my uncle, his ex-wife, my aunt and her family, etc. I don't know why because there's hardly anything there that I'm actually going to eat and it's not really worth the aggravation of seeing people that bug me. But I'll go, like I always do.

Yes it is. They don't have Maggiano's in Minnesota? We'll probably get some chicken saltimbocca, mushroom ravioli, spinich salad and maybe some stuffed mushrooms. I'm not sure what for dessert.

Red face

My T-0day will be just myself cooking solo...with a bottle of Jack Daniels and a 6-pack of bottled Coca Cola.

To be honest, I'd usually rather have fries than Tiramisu.
I haven't had Spumoni in a long time, though.
My Italian restaurant is called: "My mom's house" or "My Grandma's house".
They don't get fancy, though, they just make the regular meat, pasta, (cheese) dishes that taste really good. We often have Lasagna for Xmas...

I love italian, but my husband hates it.
He likes chinese, but I hate it.
So I can either NOT eat Italian....or find a new husband..
I'm really gonna miss him..*L*
