Or I was thinking maybe ask someone from high school that sparky might still be in touch with, who might know where that fellow is these days.

I dunno...there was this guy I had a crush on in high school that I just knew was gay. I found him through that website, and while he is in fact gay, he turned out to be kind of a weirdo. So, sometimes it can be best to let sleeping dogs lie.

When you were making those extremely homophobic comments, were you thinking the whole time that you might be gay? Was it crossing your mind at the time?

I agree. Ya know, everybody finds out.

Seriously...he had it so bad for Dissention. Like a cat in heat that Brandon was at the time.

I actually smiled when I first read his post. Is he the first to "come out" via The Ledge? So cute.

That was Ryan.

We knew he had man crushes, but one day he spilt the beans and that was the end of it.

Ryan did. And there was someone else, too, though I'm not sure if he'd appreciate me pointing it out right now.

Ah, one more chip off an already broken heart, Stevie.

He joined the navy and never got married. Lives in Europe. Skipped the 20 year reunion. I found his email address on the reunion site, but don't need to pursue it. Honestly, I hadn't even thought of any of that in so long...it's like it was another lifetime. Like it happened to someone else.
I'm just gonna shut up now. It started out as a random anecdote about an old piece if high school jewelry and now I spat up some steaming guts. Humiliating.

Perhaps I should write a script.

Shoot. I can't picture Ryan. What's his Ledge name?

Regardless, very cool. Nice to know that people feel that comfortable here.

The person I was referencing in my last post (all vaguely) came out before Ryan. Wait, I think he did... Oh well.

I adore you just as much, but I can't have you pointing out my (rare) spelling errors like that. It isn't right.

It wasn't humiliating at all, Sparky... I really enjoyed hearing the story, and I appreciate you sharing it with us.

High school was a VERY different experience for me, and I can't even imagine being able to have a relationship with another guy back then. So it was cool to hear a different type of high school experience, even if the story is bittersweet.
