What's that got to do with his music and songwriting?

Some people (me included) have a hard time separating the person from the talent. For instance, I can't watch a movie with Mel Gibson or Tom Cruise, because I can't get past the fact that they're both bat**** crazy.

Leave him alone... it was the first hit he'd had in years.

Admittedly, nothing. But I agree with Markolas; it is hard to separate the music from the person. For me, at least.

That's what I was wondering. I was all psyched to be able to vote for Patti and...she's not here.

I had to vote for Carole King. I think all are brilliant singer/songwriters and are extremely worthy, but Carole just edges the others out because of all of the artists who've done her material.

I can't, either, but that has more to do with his music being as bland and appetizing as a brown envelope.

For me, it's a toss up between Joni and Carole. I like both a great deal.

I guess it's also hard to separate the person from the unsubstantiated rumours about the person, too, huh?

any of the 4, But Jackson Browne gets my vote only because I like his songs "Running on Empty" & "The Load Out"....Otherwise not my type of music.

It was alleged in a TV movie about Kennedy & Caroline a couple of years back and Browne went positively ape****.
