Notes:

Got this from a friend of mine like 5-6 years ago (I was too young to make any notes then) as a gift. The sound quality is excellent, a great listen. However, as it says its a rehearsal, there is a live audience present. I have been searching the internet and cannot find what this could be. Any help would be appreciated, but it's definately a great listen considering it's 30 years old.

Holy ****! When I first saw that, I thought about the Warm Ways, Monday Morning & Say You Love Me rehearsal audio from 1975, & I thought HOLY **** THIS IS THE REST OF THAT!!

But that guy's notes, Brian .... do you have the feeling I have that this is Trod Nossel? Same set list, audience present, etc.

However, even if it is Trod Nossel, what does it sound like? Maybe it's the best one yet.

Just downloaded one track to find out, it is Trod Nossel. Some people still seem to think that this is a rehearsal of sorts, even when this was first uploaded to Sharing The Groove it was described as one.

It sounds the same as the copy I have. Here's a sample for proof:

Click your heels together three times, & follow the yellow brick road:

There's a better quality thing of this around, which bleeds into the music for You Make Loving Fun, which indicates that Christine had a lot of the music for that worked out even before she started dating Curry Grant.

Ohh, many thanks for the mp3. I can't download torrents... Plus, I have nothing to upload in return, and I read something on the site about download/upload ratios.

I know this might be a lot to ask (or possibly not), but if some of you folks who use the torrents could share other goodies with us who don't download? There are a few things I've seen listed there that I'd love to listen to/see, specifically the All Acess video.

Well no, of course you probably don't have something to upload in return at first. That's why you're supposed to leave your torrents open after you've finished downloading, to let other, newer leeches download from you. There's always a grace period with torrent sites; they realize that most people can't come in and immediately upload something and have a high ratio.

Oh, okay. Well, to be frank, as computer savvy as I am, the whole torrent thing is a mystery to me.

It was a total mystery to me as well not too long ago, but with the help of a friend, I managed to teach myself the basics and get everything sussed out in an evening. It's really not all that difficult! All you really need to do is download a torrent client, and then head to some torrent sites and start downloading things.

The only complicated part is that you might need to open up certain ports on your computer that will be used for uploading and downloading torrents.

Open ports, huh... After having wiped out two computers in the past, I'm generally nervous about downloading now, when it comes to connecting to clients and that sort of thing. Of course, I know much more about it the damn machines now than I did at the time, but I'm still kind of iffy. I'll muster up the courage some day, I'm sure.

I'm sure of it....And as usual for pre-2003 FM shows, the accurate date/location info was in question.

Interesting about the mention of a rehearsal version of "Warm Ways", I have that track with 2 others (Which appear from the same source recording)

1.Monday Morning (Live-Studio Demo)
2.Say You Love Me (Live-Studio Demo)
3.Warm Ways (Live-Studio Demo)
