I played classical guitar exclusively from 97-99, then got an Telecaster in 2000 and started to learn lead. So my lead style had progressed over the last 5 yrs really.

Cool...let me think about a good one for you.

I instantly thought of this when I read you reply: It is a Lindsey thread, I wouldn't mind your interpretation of 'This Nearly Was Mine.'

Exclamation Awesome!

Brandon, that was terrific! Took me back to all the SYW shows. I think all the guitar playin' Ledgies need to put on a concert! So much talent at this place.

Lux, your work is quite beautiful, as is the work of all our brethren here: Bobo, Demon, jupiter, etc. Let's all share & care with our fellow ledgies becuase it's all about joy & love. I drank a third of Jim Beam in a caring & sharing mood, & tried to play Hold Me in honor of the way we all hold one another. It's for all of you. Steve MacDougall, please share with us & care with us your version of The Black Magiclishi ... (hiccup) or whatever it's called.

ooohhh.....David that was fab, well done that piano player !!
Sorry Lux, must confess, I much prefer your "rock'in " self (clip 1) and not the "crazy" one (last 1).....a wee bit too nutty for me...on the other hand, I do love LB's crazy side.... well most sides really, but that zany one is best.... Wish I could have a drink with you David, alas, I'm on the Lemsips

Lux, this is a wonderfully silly little song, very Syd Barrett-esque. I hope that won't insult you. I really like it, I have played it several times. It reminds me of the little songs Pooh bear sings about the weather.
The earlier bit you submitted was really good, and I wish you had sent a longer sample.
Thanks for sharing them!
I didn't notice that third track until just now...that is one of my favorite Zep songs!

This is great David
I haven't listened to Hold Me in a long time, but I am saving your track to sing along to around the house. It is really great to have these musical pictures of Ledgies!
I wish we could all share some of that bourbon...I mean really- I could use a drink right now, and bourbon is my favorite...oh yes, and play some music. ;^)

*editing to remove my sig anim for this thread, so all of you won't have to see it again and again with my cascading replies.

ooo, I want to sing with.
I agree! (Except for the not liking the song part. The music video sucked me in, I swear...) That rocks, David.
