the 7th is the last and final book.

Though, JK Rowling has said she thought it would be interesting to see how Harry & friends would behave in the world as adults (That's if Harry doesnt die in the 7th book, which could still be a possibility.)...So who knows?

Aww chucks. I was starting to believe the rumors after finishing "The Half-Blood Prince". I just can't see how she'll be able to resolve all the dangling plotlines in the 7th book unless it will be 2000+ pages long.
