Well, if it's any consolation, my trash bags are biodegradable and I don't throw out batteries.

Lack of vocal pliability. Her voice box doesn't have pliability any more. She can't sing 'bustling,' so that affects a lot of songs, like 'Rhiannon,' 'Edge of Seventeen,' 'Rock 'n' Roll,' 'I Need to Know,' etc.

Her voice is more geared to the languid.

OMG I'm having a mild coronary!!! I was looking through Rick Nowels discography and it said he wrote the music to Rooms on Fire!! I never knew that? I thought Rooms was an original Stevie composition. I'm crushed that the music to my favorite Stevie song was not written by her when all these years I had assumed it was. I'm devastated! I need to go back so sleep and hope this is a nightmare lol.

I think she did the demo of it and she gave Keith Olsen a writing credit for the extra music. She plays the piano demo in the Cynthia McFadden interview during the NYC TISL concerts.

EFO is the one song that totally WOWED me the first time that I heard SAY YOU WILL. It was also the first song that I went back to once the entire first listen was over. It's one of her best songs in years and that has everything to do with her vocals AND the arrangement. Isn't this mix on the CD done by Chris Lord-Alge? Shame on WB for not making this the first single...(followed rather quickly by MIRANDA). A sassy radio edit would have done the job had it been accompanied by a video.
