And yes, Neal is having a bitter day.

Totally bitter.

I am so not age obsessed. And better than ever at 39, frankly. Odd thing - all of a sudden every guy who is sniffing at me is under 30. Generally, I am so not interested in guys under 30. I have made a few exceptions lately...

Great, so I have to wait until I'm ancient before this dry spell ends?

And just nitpicking here - but perhaps you should change your outlook on the matter. Try re-reading your first post. Replace "boys" with "men"...

"I need to find a new place to meet MEN..."

There really is a big difference. And good luck!
Ermm...I was using "boys" in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way. Austin is worse than Texas City? I can't imagine living anywhere else in Texas...or the south...I'd have to move to Massachusetts or Canada if I left here.

Once. If I don't get a call back, or if they seemed uninterested, I write them off.

And I don't appreciate some of the insinuations with regard to being age obsessed. I'm far from age obsessed. My last boyfriend was 50.

Well, the age difference was the least of our problems. And no, the one who allegedly fooled around with Anderson was a different guy.

This guy who was a f*ck buddy of mine for a while (and not a very good one, I might add) interviewed Anderson in high school when Anderson worked for Channel One. The f/b now does PR for IBM, and I'm guessing he's met Anderson since then...and he claims that they fooled around. I'm not sure if I believe that.

I remember Lisa Ling very well...

We used to watch it when I was in middle school (1996-1999).

I remember A LOT of those reporters...but I DO NOT remember Anderson.
