I suppose we should give them credit for that, at least; that's a skill in itself, to be able not to get bored out of their skulls after five shows.

Country band Alabama used to let the entire audience submit request cards to the ushers(there was a card on every seat in the venue). All requests were in a big barrel, and in the middle of the show, they'd pull 3(if memory serves) requests, and do them, no matter what the song(I'm sure it had to be one of their songs).

Or, at least have a thing like the Stones did a couple of tours ago (Bridges Over Bablyon tour), where you'd vote on their official site two weeks in advance for a song you'd want to hear at a particular show. The song with the most votes gets played that night. If a song gets the most votes three shows in a row, it gets added into the basic set for the rest of the tour. The song it replaces gets put back onto the ballot.

About 6 songs into their set, Mick said that it was time to play "your request"...they projected a computer screen on the jumbo-tron and showed the clicking onto the voting results for that show, then they'd play the song with the most votes.

Now how difficult would THAT be to do?

Now don't laugh but I have a better idea: bring out that computer screen on a jumbo-tron at the start of the concert, & then instead of playing all those stupid songs we've heard a million times, just have a big bingo game! Now tell me that wouldn't KICK!! John McVie reading out bingo numbers, etc. I would so be there.

You'd have the chance to win back the $150 you spent on tickets!
