Jayne, I am sorry that it did not go that well. I know of a few people that did not have such a great time meeting Stevie. Her bodyguard was outright mean to a few people that I know.
Anyway, the picture came out great and you both look lovely.

I decided to post my picture (with my profile) of Tori Amos and me from August at the amazing Boston show. She is the most warm and cool celebrity out there as far as fans go. I watched her look at over 50 fans in the eyes and listen to them, REALLY listen. She remembered their names, professions, ect. I have been a HUGE Tori fan since 1998 and it was one of the coolest moments of my life to meet someone who has inspired me so much. And her security guard Smitty is one of the coolest cats ever. So hang in there Janis. You looked beautiful. Stevie looked genuinely happy having her picture taken with you. I would be too scared to meet Stevie because she is every bit the "stah" and the "Rock and Roll princess".... but you did it!! And I totally understand your feelings of disappointment. I have heard a few different stories regarding Stevie and other Fleetwood Mac members and I am not surprised by this. That's all I will say regarding that. But you will always have that picture! Take care.

I'm confused because you have a picture of yourself with Stevie, so it looks like you have already meet her. If you haven't met her yet, how'd you get the photo?
Where will you be seeing her tomorrow? you may have alrady explained this, so sorry if I sound like a ding dong

 WOW! That is such an awsome pic! I don't know what I'd do for a pic of me and stevie in her top hat! But it definately sounds like you earned it. I am sorry to hear that you were poorly treated by some. I agree with most of what has been posted already,I met stevie in 2003 before the ahi, and it was just such a quick moment,but IT DID HAPPEN, and I have the pic to prove it. give it a little while, and when you remember ,only remember that STEVIE NICKS (in her top hat) put her hand on your sholder you looked her in the eye and It was beautiful. And...you have the pic to prove it thanks for that second pic too, now we know that she puts a peacock feather amongst the others. Very cool.: Also, I must say...You are a hottie! ~Aaron~

Thank you all for your kind supportive words, i feel almost normal now, and it really is due to the gorgeous pm's and posts! I am determined to make it happen again in feb/march... so i will, coz i dont want to have to come over to the US to meet her again... $$.
So sum up of the day... $$ $1705!! But i met her.. and got a photo. The first thing she did say to me was " i like your outfit" or "your outfit looks very nice" And she held both my hands, i remember that bit to try and put me at ease... didn't help  She laughed at me because i told her how my mum had called me to say that she was going to be on radio in the morning and i denied it saying to my mum that "stevie doesn't do mornings" and she thought it was so funny that she turned to tell someone. Um dont remember anything else... too big a moment and because Andrew had snapped at me i was put out. I shall put up the other photo of stevie and i tonight. She is smiling more.
