There was this bootleg on thrown down from FM's '03 show. And after listening to it, I was blown away by the audio quality. It sounds better than even the LIB CD.Almost as if it was done in a studio. Any idea whats up with this?
This is Don't Stop from LIB http://www.sanityfortoday.com/fleetw...24DontStop.mp3 And this is Don't Stop from Tampa Bay http://fmp3.de/Tampa_2003_23_Don'tStop.mp3 |

These are some of the details when it first surfaced. A matrix is when two sources are put together - ALD I believe is a hearing devise that they connected into.
Fleetwood Mac Live at the Ice Palace Tampa Fl. 6/8/03 Recorded by John Tsalikes A matrix of both Audience and ALD Sounboard A true Masterpiece and EXCELLENT Quality from the Master dat tapes... DAT masters>ALD & Aud. |

Yeah, but I have Buffalo from 5-15-03, and I was told that was an assited listening device, and Tampa sounds ALOT better than that., much more full sound

To be fair, I think the LIB one is a 5.1 mixdown version. I downloaded the show in mp3 format and thought it just didn't sound right, I ripped it myself (from the stereo lpcm) to compare and it seems the mp3s posted were from the 5.1 mix and encoded at 32KHz rather than the standard 44KHz.
I think the lpcm stereo mix sounds much better unless you're using a surround system. Still the matrix is a great listen! It sounds wonderful and no vocal overdubs!!! ![]() |
