There's a thread on the Lindsey page... called A New Picture or the Latest Picture... or something like that. Anyway, it's L and K out at some function. I thought someone said it was a movie premiere...

Would of been nice to hear about what Stevie has been up in say the last few years and what the future is going to bring us??

They always do a "pre-interview" where the person being
interviewed tells them what they want to talk about, and what they
won't talk about. Always.
Contracts and everything, I believe. I'm not sure but I
think maybe Stevie is working the drugs/past thing so heavily
because she's trying to "solidify" her role as the "Queen of Rock" -
wise not-so-old grandmother, etc. World-wide, now, not just the U.S.A.
And if she can save some lives in Australia doing it, or at least help
someone out somehow, what the hell - that whole thing.

I guess the Atkins people were late with the check. . . .

Believe me, WW's is a great way to lose weight in a healthy way. You count points and keep within certain points for your current weight. As you lose weight, you lower points as your weight goes down. When you are an older woman like a few of us on this board and Stevie, we need to focus and be healthy. If you can't do it on your own, then a place like WW's does work. My hubby does Atkins. To me, it isn't that healthy. He rarely eats healthy fruits or vegetables. Just eats too many eggs, bacon, steaks, a few boring salads. To me, this isn't a healthy way to eat. Some people need and like to eat a variety of foods and Stevie is probably one of those people that wants to splurge on a special treat like a piece of pie or cake once or twice a week and she can as long as she can keep under her points/calories limit for the day. Once women reach a certain age, it is very, very difficult for us to remain slim liike we did in our teen/twenties. Some women need help and if WW helps Stevie, then more power to her. What matters is she is healthy looking and happy. Anyway, women are always changing their minds. Stevie is no exception Men lose weight much more easier than women too.

Thanks for the interview, it's great. And about the incident, hope she will mention it day after day till he'll apologize.

I hope she's still doing the treadmill and Pilates too. . . .
Has anyone EVER heard of her going jogging?
I get the impression she's never done that in her LIFE!
Maybe chucking Jessie's computer out the WINDOW will be
good exercise though!

I suppose it helps if you never stop.

My comment, and my belief, is that no short time change in diet is going to result in permanent weight loss if the shift in diet is temporary and not accompanied by serious physical exercise. I know a number of women who have lost weight with WW. And when they went back to their former eating habits, they gained it all back. If one has weight to lose, one must burn more calories than are taken in. To maintain weight, you pretty much have to keep up that exercise forever as you age. Unless, I don't know...something like stomach surgery is involved.

Thank you so much for posting this very informative interview!

Glad to hear that she is off Atkins (although we've kinda known that for awhile... ) and is doing WW - which works IF you keep it up.

I could listen to her stories all day long...thanks again for posting!!!

One of the best posts I've read in a while, and I couldn't agree more with everything you said.

No one feels the exact same way about something or someone every day of their life.

Amber is extremely insightful & very good at stepping back & saying, "Hey, this makes no sense." I wish all of Amber's friends on the ledge would read this post of hers very carefully.

Perhaps she'll be following in Fergie's footsteps and become the next spokeswoman for Weight Watchers? They can play clips of her from the inauguration and then show her recent today show performace singing Stand Back .

It actually covers the fan/artist relationship as well.
