Ha!

No they wouldn't.

I thought it was a reference to the horses in Australia.

Anyway, I'm not offended by the blurb. People have said a lot worse here. Every singer has fans and detractors. This was a little harsh - I'm not sure why that was so necessary. But I have a feeling that it is a case of RS trying to be relevant and hip and cool (nice try) by saying "we think Stevie Nicks is lame and irrelevant." Whatev.

Well, it was... but they were saying that Stevie would be comfortable at the horse races because she's spent "so much time in the company of horse's asses."

Duh - right. I feel like an idiot. I think I sort of skimmed that part of the blurb. I'll go back to the dummy corner now. Carry on...

Don't do that, Cat. Let's get together to jam on some Stevie songs!

RS-review of Elizabethtown's soundtrack said : "Standout Track: Lindsey Buckingham or Fleetwood Mac's hushed yet heated "Shut Us Down."

Uhhh... You gotta understand. Rolling Stone is not a calm blue sea. It's a storm.

Ah, screw that. It's written by a bunch of assholes!

I thought the episode was hysterical and positively surreal. And you HAVE to love the fact that Stevie is a big enough "name" to still get mentioned on as hip a show as 'South Park.'

Sure beats obscurity!
I totally agree. Now the main reason I get ticked off when I see that episode is because my husband is rolling on the floor going.."bah...bah...bah" and I'm thinking to myself.."did I seriously marry this man?!" *LOL* but I've thought that once or twice also-that they could be Stevie fans. Oh...I forgot Sally Struthers....she got it the worst imo..ha ha....

and like I said before-the goat was.......kinda cute! but hey-can't win 'em all

At the very least, I don't think Matt and Trey acively hate Stevie. You can usually tell by their tone if they're going after somebody they really hate. They're much more vicious with folks like Phil Collins and Alec Baldwin. With the Stevie episode, it was just, "Haha, she sounds like a goat, and all the soldiers are excited about the goat!"

We're assuming that Nicks wasn't allowed to belt out her rendition of the country's national anthem, since the sound of a goat has been known to spook our equine brethren now and again . . .
Ha ha, kind of funny that is. Those boneheads have never liked her. But if you remember, all the reviews of her Gold Dust Tour were very positive, and I don't remember any of them mentioning a goat. Legendary, rocking, magical, superstar, star power, focused, and bewitching were some descriptive words used. BUT NEVER A GOAT! Baaaaaaaaaaaa!

I think it is a reference to personalities, not the actual work. Moreover, if they liked "Shut Us Down" - Oy

We're assuming that Nicks wasn't allowed to belt out her rendition of the country's national anthem, since the sound of a goat has been known to spook our equine brethren now and again . . .

That is delightfully bitchy.

How is the writer a prick? If he had written an equally bitchy comment about Michael Jackson, no one here would have batted an eyelash.

Did you just equate a pedophile and a plastic surgery nightmare to La Nicks who is neither of those things

You miss my general point. The writer gets called a prick and a jerk just because he wrote an unfunny but delightfully bitchy comment on Stevie Nicks. That's pretty stupid. Might as well condemn all of those who write bitchy things about celebrities as pricks and jerks, why pick and choose?
