As for the dress, it really seems like a more elaborate version of the dress she wore at the Stormy Weathers event. You can't see her hips in this one, cause there is some sort of cape-ish thing over her schoulders. Also, this version is shorter. And ofcourse the boob pearls.

OK, I don't love the dress. But she is still mourning her dad, and I see most of the peeps in the background of these pics also wearing black, so it's not like she's the only one. The red nails. Good God, am I the only one who thinks long hooker-red nails went out around 1985?

French manicure would have been a bit more understated and classier, IMO.

I think she looks absolutely gorgeous, especially for a 57 year old woman. And I think Curtis looks absolutely gorgeous, especially for a 20something year old homo.

i'm just glad that she looks healthy and happy.

and i love boobs, so i'm all about these photos. she's 30+ years older than i am and hers aim higher than mine

did you notice that you can see a corset in the old photos of her signing after the benefit? not no mo'... !
