i have always believed LB told Chris he might leave the band while they were in the very early stages of Tango
ive thought that before, also, in the dance video, i think its in bleed to love her, but it could be something else as well, there are some EXTREMELY intense looks going on between c & l, & lindsey is definently not looking at stevie, you can tell watching it that hes looking right past/over her at chris.

oh and by the way, what exactly has "never been so gratifying"??!!

Ah, thank you! Well, I retract my previous statement. This performance is much better. Chris sounds sexy! (Duh.) I also tracked down one from Vienna '90, which I liked.

this is one of my all-time favorite lines of Christine's. to me, her lyrics are similar to Stevie's in the way they evoke such a novel-like (making this up as I go along) feel in me...like I am remembering something in a past life that I had forgotten...just gorgeous

Here is the exact quote from Chris in that 1979 People Magazine:

"It's never been so vibrant, so gratifying". This quote is in a caption above a picture of Chris. Then it says she was referring to her Tusk love ballads AND Dennis Wilson. There are quite a few references to Dennis in the article. It's not referring to Lindsey in any way. By the way, the picture is somewhere in the picture thread. I remember posting it.

You can read the article right here. It's in the Blue Letter Archives on this website.

thankyou!!!! funnily enough this quote -"I'm 36, and my life-style is pretty much settled as far as sacrificing and accommodating myself to children." seems to change mouths, i heard somewhere that it was dennis who said it before.

oh and i love this bit - Shot of Christine and Dennis Wilson in a tight and cozy embrace: Beach Boy Dennis, says Chris, is "delightfully eccentric, and people's Mother Earth image of me is wrong. I get crazy too." thats cute, especially the quote from dennis!
