He has a vendetta against all of the Clintons. It's kind of freaky. I'm not a fan of Bill or Hillary, but Dick Morris is really out there.

Well, I think he felt left off of the money wagon with them. So, I think he saw Fox as a method to make a name and money for himself. I mean the errors in his book are so glaring that I caught one or two from memory. In the end, I think he sold out.

That's why I appreciated the latest book so much. He's never delved that deeply into those emotions before. And the link you posted to "The Girl Next Door" - that chapter is pretty freaky too. Actually downright horrifying.

I don't have a copy of "Hejira" though. A friend played it for me once. Heartbreaking.

I just finished The Song Beneath the Ice by Joe Fiorito.

I just started The Heart is an Involuntary Muscle by Monique Proulx. Which wins the prize for best title ever.

The Scarlet Letter is not one of my favorite books, either, as I think it really gets bogged down by the weight of its own self-importance in a lot of places. But there are some really beautifully written chapters in there, especially the one where Hester takes Pearl out to the forest to play, and I believe they encounter Dimsdale.

Mein Kampf

Right now I'm reading Donnie Brasco. For my "History of Crime & Violence" class. It's pretty good actually. And quite vulgar.

It's not illegal, is it? I checked one of like five copies out from my middle school library in 7th grade.

I am currently slogging through the new Diana Gabaldon. I have absolutely no will to read anymore, and it is depressing.

Where, in America? No, it's not illegal in America. I don't think any books are illegal in America these days.

Actually a search on amazon.de turns up just a few relevant results:

1) Barabra Zehnpfennig's "interpretation" of Mein Kampf.

2) Christian Zenter's "excerpts with commentary" from Mein Kampf.

3) A double CD of actor Helmut Qualtinger reading from Mein Kampf, with supposedly funny and satirical results.

And a couple of others. You can't just buy the book straight up, though. Only annotated copies for academic use. Otherwise, the dissemination of Nazi propaganda is illegal.
