i think what she ment by this is not that they won't be played, but they won't be backed my orchestra...didn't the article say only like 7 songs would be backed by the orchestra?? At Last would be cool to see live!!!...I can't wait to hear more about this!!!

Ha. No I haven't heard that one. Yay, I'm getting a present tomorrow!

By the way, back to the subject of this thread..
I think that picture of Stevie is really frightening.

Stevie's touring Australia solo for the first time in 20 years, and she'll be performing a half dozen songs with a full orchestra backing... that's something out of the ordinary and worth being excited about.

I haven't noticed any of the Australian fans pissing or moaning.
I completely agree,

Im an aussie and im the one hopefully meeting her come this sat. I think it s damn fabulous that she has even thought about let alone agreed to tour here!! And with an orchestra that will be taped for dvd release!! friken woohoo guys!! Im going to be in the croed up the front for that! Nothing taking me away!

And since this is the photo discussion: i think the photo looks nice, she's smiling people, how many shots have her smiling??? huh? she looks more at ease and i LIKE that she hasn't demanded for her hair and make up to be perfect as per usual. So good on her for doing it and love it, a much more flattering pic to me!

I'm not independently wealthy like some other Ledgies apparently are so I have to content myself with new releases. And if I can't get a new solo album out of her, then I guess a new concert DVD is almost as good.

Her hair does look a little thirsty in that pic. And she's getting to the age where she really should think about cutting it.

Or least tie it back or style it in some way. She looks like a scary china doll.

No cutting- just stop with the straightening and maybe condition it. We've all seen her hair very beautiful-looking onstage, so I don't think it's at a point that it needs to be cut. We all have our own opinions though.

I honestly haven't cared for the way her hair looked since Enchanted.

She's had it shorter before (even if it was 20 years ago), so I don't see why it would be a big deal now.

If I'm not mistaken, Rolling Stone used the line I referenced to basically condemn the entire album. Unfair, yes, but generally accurate No, all kidding aside, I like No Exit.. for all its flaws, I think it's a pretty enjoyable album. So come with me... through smoke and mirrors... we'll bring our differences nearer....

(sorta recalls such similar lyrical genius as "Our voices stray from the common ground where they could meet," no? )
