I know it's a very special time for the city and I'm thrilled to be able to experience it all first hand.

"Besides the great racing, I've been told the fashion is wonderful and so my designer Margi Kent and I are having so much fun planning my outfits. I know it's going to be a fantastic week."

Early on in her career, Nicks developed her own distinct sense of style. Nicks originally met her designer Margi Kent in the first year of Fleetwood Mac. Working together throughout their careers, Kent is designing outfits and matching millinery for Nicks' appearance at this year's Carnival.

On Emirates Stakes Day (Saturday 5 November) the Fleetwood Mac front woman will also have a race named in her honour - the Stevie Nicks Plate, Race 7 on Emirates Stakes Day. Nicks will make the post-race presentation to the connections of the winning horse at 3.45pm.

Yes. Wasn't that a Tyler - or was that her Stormy Weather dress?

The theme is Morracan, so the possibilities are driving me crazy. I hope something fabulous and stunning is made for her to wear. Imagine all the photo ops that will come out of this.

This has to be one of the most non airy fairy things Stevie has ever said.
Very Classy.

Yeah the collar wouldn't have been my choice for her, but she looked so stunning it was easy to overlook. I loved her swept up hair with the outfit, very classy. I can't wait to see the pics from the Australia, since Stevie is sure to look amazing !!

I guess what I meant is that there were no "Ahh's, Umm's, or Like's or Ya know's" in her statement. Very classy and very business like. Let's face it, Stevie is like her very own company. And she is the big boss at the top and has employees, etc... Could you just imagine Stevie in a business meeting? Kind of got a gimpse of it during the DR doc. Wish I could invest in Stevie, Inc. That would be a cool thing. if you could invest in celebs.

I am so looking forward to see what transpires at the races and what is learned about the upcoming Aus. tour and the DVD hopefully. This is all gonna rock

I think she ought to do what all the other Hollywood stars are doing: jeans, T-shirt, & a three-day stubble

yah I know what you meant. but i don't class that as airy fairy. She just talks like a regular person i say 'like' a lot....probably too much and i'm not even from California

Can u IMAGINE Stevie in a business meeting WOAH.....laid back on the couch drinking coffee. no shoes on. dogs all over the place At least she was very aware of everything that should have been taken into consideration and it wasn't JUST about the money or going against what Lindsey or the other band members wanted.

I'll invest
