No - you are not. You are a religious conservative who wants the govt. to enforce Christianity over all other religions in direct violation of the First Amendment. You are also an uninformed and unleared rube who refuses to call facts facts and instead gives unsupprted opinions on things you read off of some religious right wing hate site. That is what you are and why you try to hide that is beyond me.

Because that is just not true!

Christianity isn't being forced on anyone.

Him - didn't you just say yesterday that this is a Christian nation and I should get used to that. What did you mean by that? Please be specific.

obviously you cant say that with a straight face, hence the laffing smilie....

because the truth of the matter is that it most certainly IS being forced on ALL of us, from the classroom to the bedroom to the courtroom from the cradle to the grave, and I do NOT call myself a Christian in the manner of the wacko fundies of today.

If anything Christians are being oppressed.

It shouldn't be a holiday, no pledge in the classrooms...

Well this is essentially a Christian nation. But I don't think THAT EVERYONE that lives in the USA should be forced into Christianity...no.

So why use only the Judeo-Christian form of marriage? By allowing only one form to be officially recognized by the govt. and allowing automatic benefits otherwise unavailable to flow to that marriage, one religion is being promoted over another. Thus, the only conclusion is for the govt. not to be in the business of marriage at all or in any way. Yet, the Christian right will never allow that because they for some reason think that if the US Govt. does not put their religion first, their religion will somehow fail or be less. That insecurity is ridiculous to me because I would believe regardless of what the Govt. told me. In the end, politicians know religion is a wedge issue and they use it that way, which belies the true intent of any form of Christianity I know of.

How is a lack of govt. recognition of those stopping you from particiapting in them?

As for the Pledge, "under God" was put in there to stop Communism and as a way to force Christianity down the throats of Americans.

I never use acronyms like that, but: LOL.

In fact: ROFLMAO.

If you ever want to take a day off, Brandon, let me know. I'm pretty sure I could write all of your posts for you.

How is it bull****? "God" was added to the Pledge 50 years ago. It was not in it originally and it has no place in it.

Keep espousing your fundie views, it just makes you look more and more idiotic.
