And the Massachusetts Supreme Court judges are the only ones who have seem to stumble across this "hidden gay marriage clause” in their constitution.

Methinks you need to read the actual decision from the MSC.

Then you've yet to see a credible argument regarding marriage period. It's not mentioned in the Constitution, so what makes it a right for heterosexuals and not homosexuals?

A little jump, a swig of moonshine, and we'd be married in the Lord's eyes.

Omigod, I'm married and I didn't even know it!

Well, he completely disregarded my point about Reagan supporting apartheid, so I'm not surprised.

I'm a bigamist and I didn't even know it. Just one kiss and I'll jump over a broom with anyone.

Then you're a neocon, not a conservative. A conservative is someone like Olympia Snowe, not Ronald Reagan.

The less government involved in my life...the better!

I didn't realize they had liberal social views.

David Brudnoy was Libertarian (I believe) and he said that people brought up by bad parents were basically useless, something to that effect. I thought it was awful and never listened to him the same way again. I still admired his intellect and enjoyed his autobiography but I just thought that was COLD.

Yeah but you had to be hit with the broom before you would touch that moonshine.

This is the thing that drives me crazy. The law describes marriage as being "between two people." So judges find that by definition this does not exclude two people of the same sex. Seems like a very literal interpretation to me. But the right flips out and accuses judges of "making new law."

I sure hope things are going as badly as they seem to be for them...

Libertarians basically believe the less government the better. Including staying out of who should marry who and whether people smoke pot or not. I'm guessing that's what he's referring to.

Oh I see. How "liberal".
