I was watching Inside the Actor's Studio today and got the idea for a thread questionnaire based on the questions the host asks at the end of the show. So cut and paste away guys, I think there should be some interesting answers in this one!

1. What is your favourite word?

Four letters. Starts with an F and ends with a K. Seriously though, I really like the verb "scurry;" I use it a lot in my writing.

2. What is your least favourite word?

Four letters. Starts with an W and ends with a K. No seriously... "Spatula" There's something about that word that just bothers me.

3.What turns you on?

Talent of some artistic sort. Music, writing, painting, sculpture... I like creative people.

4. What turns you off?

Stupidity.

5. What is your favourite sound?

My cat's purr.

6. What is your least favourite sound?

The telephone ringing.

7. What is your favourite curse word?

8. What profession other that your own would you like to attempt?

Writing as a profession. I'm working on it though... assuming I ever get my damned novel finished.

Working for one of the pet crematories that my office has a contract with for disposal of remains.

How about "Sorry for pissing you off and making you lose the already small amount of faith you had"? Seriously... don't believe in him.

2. What is your least favourite word? love (seriously--titties...hate that word. It's so damn ugly)

3.What turns you on? maturity, wisdom, compassion, shyness, eccentricity...lots of things that don't turn other people on

4. What turns you off? narcissism, ignorance, narrow-mindedness

5. What is your favourite sound? That one's easy--a beating heart.

6. What is your least favourite sound? a kid screaming in a store or nails on a chalkboard

7. What is your favourite curse word? damn, I guess

4. What turns you off? Liars, bimbos (most women are smart but a lot...*cough* Paris Hilton *cough*...pretend to be dumb because it seems cool for some reason!?!)

My least favorite sound, like Hillary's, would have to be a child screaming. Ugh.

In Wal-Mart the other day, there was this kid screaming bloody murder like he was actually being murdered...because his mother took some toy away from him and wouldn't give it back while they were in the store. He just kept screaming and you could hear it all over the store. I cannot explain the irrational, uncontrollable anger that comes over me at moments like that. I was *this close* to screaming obscenities at one of them myself. I plan those things out in my head, like I'm going to walk up to them and start spouting my choice words. But it's truly not in me to do that type of thing, and so I can only fantasize about how fulfilling it would be.

You've noticed this too? i work with few girls, 18-22 yrs old, and they're smart as hell, but they act so ditzy 'cause it's the 'in' thing to do now, I guess.
