this show has been driving me nuts~ chris wants his cake & eat it too~ at 1st i totally agreed w/ him, thinking he is the type of guy, who would like to see adrienne out on her own, w/ her own car & responsibilties, i think independence is something he looks for in a woman, but he also likes having her hot 22 yr old naked body all over him & in his bed everynight~ he over analyzes everything, til it is almost painful to watch~ & i am sorry no matter how much i love "the brady bunch", it would freak me out to have florence henderson, come give me the once over, something about ole ma brady talking about great hot sex, freaks me out & shouldn't b explored

~ but i will continue to watch i am sure along w/ breaking bonaduce & i am a laguna beach lover

, my hubby got me the 1st season on dvd for peanuts

Yeah I sure wouldnt want to piss Danny off. I cant believe that he tried to kill himself. I feel so bad for his wife and children. I just dont understand how he got so angry because Gretchen had strippers at her party. She didnt even know about it till she got there. No big deal. Next weeks episode shows him drinking and then checking himself into Betty Ford and then it said something about him being bipolar. I wouldnt doubt that at all!

I very rarely choose to moralize about the parts of popular culture that I don't like, mainly because it's usually just a matter of personal taste and folks should enjoy what they enjoy, plus I think most aspects of popular culture are pretty innocuous anyway. But I have to say, I think the fact that this show exists and is being aired is pretty sick. Most reality shows thrive on emotionally unstable characters causing conflict with other people, but again, it's usually pretty innocuous stuff. Here you just have a very disturbed person completely self-destructing on camera, and people watching it for entertainment. That this man's attempted suicide has been turned into a plotline for a television show is really disgusting, and the producers should have shut down and abandoned the idea of the show after the incident happened. Instead, it's Schadenfreude taken to a despicably cruel level, and it's something that should be condemned, not gawked at and encouraged. Please, people, have some decency and change the channel. It'll be good for your soul.

This is the kind of behavior that some with bipolar exhibit when going through a manic state. He is obviously not on the correct meds, and alcohol can make them less effective even if he is taking some correct ones.

I am learning all about this illnes now because my boyfriend was just diagnosed with it, and it ain't no picnic.

What are wrong with these guys that were child stars? Danny B. scares me that he is out with the public. He really needs some help and I feel bad for his wife and children. What was she thinking marrying him within hours of meeting him????

Chris Knight, I use to watch him as a kid. Heck, he is a year younger than I am and he is still a mixed up guy. Two marriages and now dating/living with a 22 year old girl

She is way too immature for him and he doesn't know what he wants from a relationship with a woman. Having Mrs. Brady/Florence/tv mom coming over to meet Adrienne and solve his relationship problems. Get a life and grow up, Chris and Flo get off my tv screen

Plus, on top of all that, he is/was using steriods which would make things even worse.

he is totally freaking me out as of late tho, he is a nut & if he is doin' this for the publicity, he is madder than i thought~ i feel so bad for his wife, she looks terrified half the time, but i so admire her when she does stand up to him~ danny was right tho when promoting the show, it is a train wreck & i can't stop watching it

I hate to admit but I fell in to the trap as well. Not sure if it will be covered this season or not but he was fired from his radio show and is now suing his former co-host for slandering him on air while he was in rehab. Seems like nothing anyone could say would show him in as bad a light as he has shown himself on TV.

I think this man is seriously ill. Many of the types of things that I am seeing are textbook manic characteristics. I have been doing alot of reading about this illness since my boyfriend's diagnosis. The excessive drinking. The drugs. The women. The rage. The verbal abuse. The controlling behavior. Mental illness at its finest.

He needs some rehab/medication/intensive therapy.

What was the "slander"? That he was in rehab? I thought Danny announced that himself!

I hope he goes under the knife with any settlement he gets, because if anyone needs plastic surgery, it's Bonaduce. He's a walking ad for why it's necessary.

The guy has lived hard. Physically his body is okay but his face really shows what he has been through. And his wife! I cannot believe she is staying with him.
