Yeah you cant help that feeling you get. LindseyJR, youre a guitar player arentcha? Hell, sometimes if I play at home and I get to riffing on that solo I get this big grin on my face. Especially when you get that tone just right...GYOW is always a fave at a bar or a club when you play it live. The only problem is...finding someone who can sing it right. For me, I can do the verses but I cant hit the high notes on the chorus.

haha! I thought you were a guitar player. You seem to have some working knowledge of it anyhow. I was never able to play any Mac tunes live in the bands I was in except for GYOW and OCCASIONALLY i got to slip in So Afraid if we wanted to impress other groups with the guitar solo.

Well, I've played in the past, I still have my strat. But due to several reasons I had to stop, but now I'm gonna restart again. You know, I like many styles of music, but the reason I'm starting again, besides time, is LB. He made me realise what a great instrument the guitar is. And he's the reason why I love FM, together with Stevie & John. Now, GYOW has a special meaning for me like I've said here before, and I understand that you also lose it , because I even get it while just listening to it!

I can talk for hours about music, without I'm nothing, but now I'm gonna play again, to let the demons go. And maybe I'm gonna buy a model 1, who knows...

Almost sound like a poorlyt written song there! HA! Why did you quit playing? NEVER quit playing your guitar. It's an outlet for me emotionally and I always feel better after I play. If I go more than 3 days or so without picking it up for whatever reason, it make me feel weird. Then I have to go and devote more time to it than I normally would. I just picked up 3 Boss effects pedals that I used to have and I've been playing like a sonovabitch the last two days. If you want that heavily overdriven "So Afraid" sound, thats whatcha gotta do.

Ha! you're right, sometimes I feel ashamed BUT I'm coming back, watch out! I've stopped because of several reasons, but that's over now
