I thought so. Because my mom's cousin lived there for years, and she and her husband recently moved back to Shreveport. I was hoping some of their liberal-mindedness would rub off on the Shreveport clan, but...they're actually really conservative. One of her sons is a Jesus freak, I think.

Closet cases annoy. The rest sounds good, though. Where in CA is Chico?

Mine was until last week, but I put it up against the wall for a change. I don't like it, though, and will probably move it back.

Sounds eclectic.

The only thing that I have that sticks out like a sore thumb is a painting my grandmother did of a boy dragging a stick alongside a picket fence, but it has emotional value to me, so I have it up.

My place is not large at all and I moved here from a much larger house and did not want to give up my stuff. But, it works pretty well. I am actually about to put a bid on another place if their board votes to allow dogs. it is MUCH larger than my current 800 or so sq. ft.

Well, I loathe both of these bands, but I went with the lesser of two evils: the Eagles. Blegh.

Good call, Ry. I still thought it was a funny parody, though.
Teehee

We want him to listen to more classic rock, not cut his wrists.

Sure I do. I just don't like what I consider to be crap. And classic rock is such a broad term these days, anyway.

I must say, that's better than what ended up on SYW.

I knew a quip like that was coming.

It's sad that the one thing we disagree upon is such a huge thing ~ Stevie songs.

Tom Petty
Fleetwood Mac
Jefferson Airplane
The Who
Rolling Stones
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

And a slew of others. The term "classic rock" is too subjective.

Default side note

I am the tangent lady, and I want to know if anyone has ever heard the amazing Dale Kranz, who married one of the Skynard guys and did a couple of records with him as the Rossington Collins Band?
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...glance&s=music

It doesn't matter that the music is lead-footed, and pretty unexciting, because you can just marvel at her voice. You should also marvel at the cover of this album. Just look at it. Wow!
Anyway, listen to "Don't Misunderstand Me" (he sings first in the sample, but wait for her)
and "One Good Man"
